I do not think that what we're doing in Iraq is silly. It's an important, albeit tragic, investment that we ought to do if we desire to not only live in freedom but bestow the same gift of freedom to the next generation. So yes, we are taxed a lot, but if our money goes to fund the war, I'm OK about it. I respectfully disagree with Ms. Bev’s last comment. I do not think that what we’re doing in Iraq is silly. American residents/citizens must pay tons of taxes and yes, they had been distributed well, except lately during the invasion to Iraq. Many things have been cut down to finance that silly war. ;) Thanks for your support on my blog. Yup, Tasa. There are some states that provide free education up to college like Washington DC. Do you put your children at private schools? Oh, you mean you have to pay a lot of taxes to live in USA and public schools are run by the taxes? Well, if that’s the case you are right. Americans do pay taxes a lot!! But, the good thing is people’s money is distributed well here with almost no corruption. So, most people can accept the high taxes that they have to pay. Thanks Mba Hi Mba,

In fact, I pay a lot of taxes to provide for those children's education from elementary to community college. With my income bracket, I pay more than 30% of my pre-tax earnings to pay for all kinds of stuff. In my city Mountain House, I also need to pay an extra USD 2,500 annually to provide facilities for this new city. In total, it is a lot of money annually, Tasa. :) It seems free but it is actually not. Somebody has gotta pay for them. ;) Jennie Tasa,
